AlopeciaWorld.COM is back! :-)

We are immensely pleased to announce that the domain name ALOPECIAWORLD.COM is back with Alopecia World!

Just to remind you, it was recently seized by a cyber-squatter who attempted to sell it for $18,000.00 or the highest bidder.

Thanks to the intervention of Alopecia World’s very able legal team, the cyber-squatter's efforts were thwarted and the domain name was transferred back to Alopecia World today.

What this means is that you can once again memorize and simply type www.alopeciaworld.com to get to the site.

It also means that all valid links to www.alopeciaworld.com will soon be working again. 

NOTE: If you type www.alopeciaworld.com and see any site other than our beloved community, you can restart your computer to fix the problem or -- for the techies among us -- you can run the refresh/flush DNS command.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience this unfortunate incident may have caused you.

We also hope that you will join us in celebrating this victory for alopecians throughout the world!

w00t!! That's so good to hear. It seems that even with 'Domain Lock' these creeps can still wreak havoc. A pox on hackers and their ilk! /rant off

rj & I have had 3 weeks of extreme stress regarding this event. We would sincerely like to thank all of you for your support and understanding while we were trying to rectify the situation.
