I've had a few rough days, actually a few rough months....Non alopecia related.

Leo's mother Helen is 83 and suffering from dementia.
She was living independently until last September. Her mental capacity has declined rather rapidly. We moved her to a Residential Assisted Living Facility but it didn't work out as she required more care.
We have since just moved her again to a small board and care home which is really nice. She is having a hard time ajusting to the change and it is hard on us as well.
I pray things will work out for all of us especially Leo and his mom Helen.
Thanks for listening.

Your Friend,
Jeffrey

Hi Jeffrey,

Dementia takes the mind of the patient and the heart of the family. I'm sorry- I know how difficult it must be for you and Leo. You've got my prayers.

Jeff,
Hang in there my friend. I'm sure between yourself, Leo, and Helen there is enough love and strength to carry you all through these difficult times. You have more friends here than just about anybody and deservedly so. I'm sure all are hoping for the best for you and your family.

Hi Jeffrey,
Dementia is a very difficult disease. My grandma had it along with alzheimer's and the progression was quick. It seemed as though we as a family suffered more than my grandma, so I completely understand your struggle. Hang in there. Appreciate the good times you are having with Helen and your and Leo's family. Keep laughing with her regardless of her condition. Laughter is medicine...for everyone.
