I am in the process of writing my book. It is like a hair autobiography (with pictures). It is not a book about treatment. Although I had to chuckle while writing to keep from crying, I can feel the healing in the process. Has anyone else already did this or have a journal they have keep over the years?
I am a self-publish author of 4 "how to" books and a BlogTalk Radio host of 2 shows. But this is the first one that is personal. I feel some apprehension for actually putting it on the market. Since it does not have to do with solutions (I know I have tried many without success) I am not sure if anyone will be interested in my story, hmmmm.
Anything book that deals with acceptance and coping would interest me.
Hi Tiff:
Thanks for the feedback.I am finish my first draft I am letting time marinate my ideas before I publish it. Now. I am working on the description and one of the lines will go like this " I have been on a roller coaster of fear, disappointment, embarrassment, hopes, triumphs and acceptance. It has not been fun. Life has given me lemons and I have learned how to make lemon pie."
What do you think?
Hi Marieca:
Thanks for the feedback. I will post here, once the website is ready for book launch. I will offer the book for free (for a limited time) for anyone who is willing to help with the launch. Don't give up on your writing. I think it is easier for people to read fiction than non-fiction. Non-fiction is a way to take a break from reality. Whenever you finish and want to self-publish let me know, I can point you in a simple and easy to follow direction.
I meant "fiction" is a way to take a break from reality.
I have recently self-published my 5th ebook. This one is different from the “How to” guides of the past. It is a personal journey. “My Hair Story: Living with hair loss is not easy”. This is a book about coping. It is a hair autobiography from childhood, life in the military and beyond. I need your help with the first stage of marketing which is to get reviews on Amazon (you must have an Amazon account). If you would love to help me out, I would love to gift you a free ebook from Amazon in exchange for any honest review. Below is the YouTube video and the sign-up link. Review promo ends 30 March.
Thanks for everyone who participated in the first phase of reviews (that link is now disabled). The second phase for reviews will be launched using StoryCartel-Soon
Hi Family:
