Has anybody written their hair story in a book?

I am in the process of writing my book. It is like a hair autobiography (with pictures).  It is not a book about treatment.  Although I had to chuckle while writing to keep from crying, I can feel the healing in the process. Has anyone else already did this or have a journal they have keep over the years?

I am a self-publish author of 4  "how to" books and a BlogTalk Radio host of 2 shows. But this is the first one that is personal. I feel some apprehension for actually putting it on the market. Since it does not have to do with solutions (I know I have tried many without success) I am not sure if anyone will be interested in my story, hmmmm.

Hi Marieca:

Thanks for the feedback.  I will post here, once the website is ready for book launch. I will offer the book for free (for a limited time) for anyone who is willing to help with the launch. Don't give up on your writing. I think it is easier for people to read fiction than non-fiction.  Non-fiction is a way to take a break from reality.  Whenever you finish and want to self-publish let me know, I can point you in a simple and easy to follow direction.

Hi Ericka I actually wrote a fictional story loosely based on myself that's 3/4 of the way finished then I stopped. Couldn't figure out how I wanted to finish. It's been months. I kept saying no one will read this! Lol but I think I may pull it back out and try and complete it. Good luck with yours can't wait to read it!

Hi Tiff:

Thanks for the feedback.I am finish my first draft I am letting time marinate my ideas  before I publish it.  Now. I am working on the description and one of the lines will go like this " I have been on a roller coaster of fear, disappointment, embarrassment, hopes, triumphs and acceptance. It has not been fun. Life has given me lemons and I have learned how to make lemon pie."

What do you think?

Anything book that deals with acceptance and coping would interest me.
