STUDY: Identification of stigmatization and psychosocial stress in people with Alopecia areata or androgenetic Alopecia

Participate in a study to understand well-being and experiences of stigma among adults dealing with hair loss.  This is an anonymous, confidential, and voluntary online survey (approximately 10 minutes).

The survey is hoping to compare samples from Germany and the US in how stigma and experiences of having alopecia may impact psychosocial outcomes, particularly quality of life and social support. The IRB-approved study is an online survey that takes about 10 minutes. All responses are completely anonymous, and in compliance with data protection rights for research purposes only.

IRB approval from both responsible parties: Hunter College (City University of New York) and the Technical University Munich (Germany), plus a translation for the German IRB document
