I'm not going to find joy in my disease, but I can still find joy despite it!

so yeah... today rocked! i went in to work bald again... got a TON of compliments on how it really brings out my eyes. i even came up with some new clever little comebacks when people ask what happened! ive realized that im not going to find joy in my disease, but i can still find joy despite my disease. this is my new motto!
so my BBBB (cleverly named by Norm for Big Bad *itchy Boss) is going CRAZY with me having fun being bald! and to make it even better, i got offered a new job today so i got to QUIT my job! NO MORE BBBB!!!!!!!! i still gave a 2 week notice, but i cant wait to get out of there! YAY! talk about a good day :)

come on norm... we need to hear lesson 2! as you know, im new to being bald and need all the "lessons" i can get! haha.
so BBBB was EXTRA *itchy today! she tried to get me to sign a form saying im on "probation" for my attitute & actions until september! i told her i wont sign it because its irrelevent! she is trying to make work as miserable as possible for me to try to get me to walk out, but i wont. im not that kind of person. im hoping she fires me for not signing that stupid crap form so i can go collect unemployment on her ass! lol. oh yeah, the form also said that i am not personable (how can you not be when you are bald?!) and am disrespectful to others.oh, and that i argue with her all the time, but to me, its not arguing, its defending myself while under attack... MAN i hope i get to do an exit interview with the president of the bank!

Jennifer, is there an ombudsman or personnel officer or someone like that in the company? There should be someone in a department you can talk with about these problems, and get your side of the story preserved on the record. It's outrageous that you're being asked to sign a form for having an "attitude" when you've been subjected to this sort of discrimination and abuse!

Well, I dunno, Jen... it's a pretty intensive course.... residential, with plenty of practical work... lotsa hands-on sessions, y'know? (ahem) :) (Hey, for God's sake don't let your husband see this, or I'm dead.... oh, hi there, Mr. Jen!!)
Alright, just so you get a feeling for the sort of stuff we'll be covering, I'll throw another one in as a teaser....
... if you're into motorbikes, remember us baldies don't have to wear a helmet - we can just paint our heads red! (this doesn't work if you want to fool anyone it's a full-face lid, by the way.) :)

Hey, what will you do about BBBB once she's not your boss any more? You'll have to change it to mean "Big Bum and Bad Breath", I suppose. ;)

mary, the problem is that the lady that you HAVE to go to, the top lady in charge, is another one of those mean-girls & just happens to be BBBBs best friend! UGH! im just excited to never have to type BBBB again in 2 MORE WEEKS!!! like i said before, in this small town, word gets around & im making sure people know why i am leaving the bank. im also making sure they know that i LOVED my job & am really going to miss seeing all the customers & coworkers. it sucks because everyone loves me (and my big bald head!) EXCEPT BBBB! i know its her problem & not mine, but it still sucks.
now norm... what am i possibly going to do with you... you're like my little secret dirty-santa! lol. btw... dont try the painting your whole head red thing. id hate for you to get in an accident... our days would all be a little less comical if you werent around :) oh... mr jen says hey norm!

Understood....I'm so glad you found another position!

What are you gonna do with me... hmmm. I suggest the safest thing is to blast off and then nuke the place from space. No, hang on, that was Aliens... erm, well, maybe lock me in a cellar and feed me leftovers. Hey, if it works for the Royal family... :)
Actually, I don't bother with the red paint, personally - I can just forget the sunblock and stay outside for an hour. Same effect, but you get that interesting flesh-peeling-off-the-zombie look a few days later when it starts peeling. How attractive...
High 5 back to Mr J.... :)

Oh, and by the way... I seem to remember a few weeks back, you saying something about "not wanting to be the weird bald girl in town"...?? Wonder where that went... :)
