I'm not going to find joy in my disease, but I can still find joy despite it!

so yeah... today rocked! i went in to work bald again... got a TON of compliments on how it really brings out my eyes. i even came up with some new clever little comebacks when people ask what happened! ive realized that im not going to find joy in my disease, but i can still find joy despite my disease. this is my new motto!
so my BBBB (cleverly named by Norm for Big Bad *itchy Boss) is going CRAZY with me having fun being bald! and to make it even better, i got offered a new job today so i got to QUIT my job! NO MORE BBBB!!!!!!!! i still gave a 2 week notice, but i cant wait to get out of there! YAY! talk about a good day :)

Right, so as a singleton, all I need to do is go up to a bald guy and.... naah, hang on... :)

Amazing what you can get away with by keeping a straight face, isn't it? When peeps have slow response from their computers, I usually tell them they've got the chair leg on the network cable and they're stopping the data from getting through.... I do sometimes fear for the future of the human race. :)

Yeah, I kept a straight face for a minute, then told they guy (who looked like he believed me) that I didn't have to do anything to get this beautiful shine!

Another thing I frequently do is tell bald guys "I like your hairstyle"...always gets a smile and usually a compliment back (and no, I'm not flirting - I'm married). But, if I were single, it wouldn't be a bad thing....

REALLY good news about the new job, though. See? Told ya baldies have more fun... hope the new one's close to your old one, so you can pop in from time to time and wind up BBBB now and then. Hey, now it's summer, maybe she'll be having a barbecue she'll invite you to. And it'll be the BBBBBBQ.... :)

Wonderful!!!

I've found that humor is helpful, too. One time a guy (with male pattern baldness/shaved) asked me how I get my head so shiny. With a straight face, I told him I use a really fine grade of sand paper....
