Just a catch up! Minus the cuppa tea unfortunately!

Hello fellow alopecians :)
Hope everyone is doing fine and dandy? Good stuff :)Thought I would add a blog, as I haven't done so for some time now. And I appear to be in a happy chatty mood :) No more college! my exhibition opens on tuesday! This should be fun! very excited and looking forward to it, will deffinately take some photos and post them on here. My project was based on recycling and becoming a greener society. My final art piece was a huge frame (about the size of a door frame) made out of drift wood and....rubbish! things I salvaged from tips and charity shops. Everything from old Cd's, a hair dryer (clearly I have no need for it anymore!) some old TV remotes etc... You get the idea. This was all sprayed silver, to look like an old guilded mirror frame! I took this out and around Nottingham, taking photos of the dirty streets, over-flowing bins and skips, to show the nature of our wasteful society, framed and glorioufied by 'junk', the material that could save our world!

Have a lovely lovely summer everybody, and if the weather is anything like it is here in the UK, here's hoping it brightens up soon!!

Take Care x

Hiya Liz, you Rampant Greeny, you!
Here's an idea - why don't you take the "construct" and get some pix of people standing in it? Tell 'em it's for a new series of You've Been Framed. :)
I'm off for that cuppa tea.... I'll make you one while I'm at it, yeah?
Later - Norm x

P.S. glad to see you've ditched the cardie for the new pix ... and the make-up's getting better too :)

Norm, your such a laugh! and not a bad idea, although there are some, slightly less witted people, on the course that would believe that!
oo, cuppa tea, sounds good to me! kettle's on now ;)
An oh don't worry, that cardie will make a cameo appearance sooner or later!

Hey, Cardie Girl, 2 sugars for me :)
...and I believe there's a special psychological technique they have now, where they can gradually, over time, get you to wear cool stuff instead of 10-year-old kit... (never worked for me, tho'... ) :)
