Okay, leaving soon to meet some friends. It was okay running in and out of a few stores. Now, I'll be sitting in one place for a while. Feeling kind of anxious. What if people start staring at me? For a brief moment I thought about cancelling. Then I thought, screw it! Let them stare!

They are probably staring at that perfect smile!

Aw, thank you, Tallgirl. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm learning I have a lot more strength and courage than I thought. It's also been great not to worry about whether or not my bald spots are covered.

Way to go sks, I remember standing at the door with my hand on the door knob for like 17 hours! LOL! OK, it was probably 2 minutes, but it felt like 17 hours. Then I took a deep breath and walked out. I agree it was not at all like I expected. I came home exhilirated that I finally did it. After a while you don't even check to see who is and isn't staring. And if they do, you can handle that too.
