Milestone

This morning I woke up and did a Britney Spears. Yes, I cut off all my hair. I am so happy and relieved I made this decision. I've never been completely bald before, and so far, it's not so bad. I want to thank the Alopecia World community for being so inspirational. I also want to thank the community at HerAlopecia.com and my family :)

Good for you! It's freaky when you see all of your (remaining) hair falling down before your eyes so fast eh?

Hi Jessi :) Congrats on taking such a huge step! :) It took me a long time to finally make the choice to shave off the last straggly bits of hair I had left, but it was definitely the right thing to do. I was suprised at how good I felt after I'd had it shaved actually :P Some tips ... wear moisturiser that has spf in it when it's sunny, and keep a scarf or cute hat with ya when the weather's cool :)
