Ok, so this is my first Blog on here. I maybe just need to vent abit.
Im feeling rather down, and glum.
I was diagnosed with alopecia almost a month ago. It was mainly the left side of my parting and I have been applying some caffeine stuff I bought from Boots, willing it to work.
Ive felt the last few days that my hair at the back felt thinner, so tonight I took a look and there seems to be a patch. So I cried my eyes out.
Im scared, and it all feels worse because I'm single.
After my ex fiance cheated on me last year and left I suppose it left me a little vulnerable and left me with low self esteem.
I'm going to start putting my clip in extensions in.
I feel too sad and upset to write anything else.

Hi Christina,

I'm not sure how far your alopecia has progressed.
I know a product that is purley cometic but I loved it when I had enough hair to make it work.

Hi Christina hope you are feeling a bit better since joining Alopecia World... this site is really wonderful. Once you read through some of the profiles and blogs you'll realise you're not going through this alone and some of the stories may even make you laugh. Alopecia can be a bit of a rollercoaster. I have days where i don't really think about it and then other days i only need to see a shampoo ad on tv and i get upset.
If you need to talk anytime just drop me a line. I hope things get easier for you soon.
Take care, Melinda.

Hi there, Im really sorry I haven't got back to you all sooner, I've been feeling like hiding away.
Thank you to everyone thats messaged me though, I really appreciate it :)
I feel like I've lost a bit more hair the last two days, for a few days it eased off and I felt happy, but its back :(
i saw a different doctor the other day, and he wasnt very helpful, told me to exercise more. I asked if accupuncture or some sprays would help and he said no. He said my hair was more thinning than balding, and said it should grow back, but after looking at it tonight I feel that I should go back and get a second opinion.
I will try and get back to you all though :)
Thanks again for the messages :) xxx
