...and my first wig. It's a little poofy at the roots at present compared to my natural hair shape. I was told to give it a few days to settle down and then come back to have it thinned if it's still too big. It was REALLY full on top when they first put it on my head-- I looked like an 80's hair band rocker dude, but they thinned it some and used the flat iron, and this is the result. Better than bald patches by a long mile, but I still dearly miss my long hair and just being natural. It has been an emotional day and I am EXHAUSTED.
AZMom- I think it's Jon Renau European (custom cut/dyed to match my existing hair), but I call her Harriet. :-) Thanks everyone... this is a new experience for me... wore it to work and just had compliments on the new cut, so I guess I fooled everyone. The jig will be up tomorrow when I workout at lunch time and whip Harriet off in the locker room! ha ha! Close friends at work already know, and honestly, I am not ashamed of my disease, just don't want to show off the horrific looking patchy scalp as all.
You look gorgeous and natural. Your eyes just pop in this picture and I think your new hair looks perfect!
Love the color! It looks very natural & beautiful on you.
Congratulations! It DOES look great and completely natural. I thought my wig looked puffy at first too, but it either settled down or I got used to it. It looks fine now. My wig will never replace my hair, but it sure feels good to go out looking good and feeling confident.
Wow Tracey, I wouldn't guess in a million years that you were wearing a wig!!
You look gorgeous!

Looks great - perfectly suited to you!
Shave off anything you label "horrific" and go exotic in that locker room. Shaved looks decisive.
This is perfect for you. Looks so natural! I have wigdar and I would never have known. Good choice.
Looks great and definitely natural looking.
