The other thing I've noticed since becoming bald is that I'm paying more attention to eye shadow, and now that my eyebrows are growing back (for awhile), I'm plucking them, which I never used to do.!

Wear sun protection - not just lotion, but a hat with a wide brim. I've protected my face from direct sun for most of my life, and at almost 58, I'm becoming aware that it's made a difference.

no kidding, your telling me, i love my lipsticks, my glossy pale pink eye shadow, and everything else, so when in a turban I think I look prettty damn good!! I know it will take time to get over having no hair but I guess in the meantime thees nothing wrong with obsessing with other things to keep my mind off of my sexy bald head,,LOL

I love my makeup! There's nothing like red lipstick to brighten a girl (or woman) right up!

aahhh come one, I thought they were laugh lines..... :-)
I do take care of my skin a lot better then I used to. Also wear more eye makeup.....of course not having any eyelashes is probably the cause of that.....but I have noticed that I play them up more now that I wear scarves and hats.

Just last week I thought to myself, I should start taking better care of my skin. I went and bought myself some new skin cream! lol

Some of this is funny, so serious. I would have to say that I really took notice of my teeth/smile and try to maintain that. I guess the energy taken away from "doing your hair" has to go somewhere ;)

Here it is: "Get close to really see the grace and affinity of womanhood in [TallGirl’s painting]. The piece depicts a time when wrinkles were a coveted badge of wisdom, not a red flag to run for a Botox needle."
