RE:Statistic: AT and AU are 5-7% of the 1-2% (4million) people that have AA??

Het Ya'll!
Have you guys heard of this statistic before? That would mean that only about 200,000-280,000 people actually get AT or AU and the rest never do?? So where are those people??? I have not really met any on this site or anywhere else on the internet. Could this be a wrong statistic? It seems like to me, mostly everyone that has AA, eventually gets AT and or AU after a while. Thanks for any feedback!!

Hi Melissa!
This site might lead one to believe that most of the cases of AA turn into AT or AU, but I think that's because the people who get a spot or two either never make it to this site or stop coming once the problem resolves (which is apparently statistically the most common case). While there seems to be a predominance of AT and AU members here, there really are also plenty of members here (myself included) who are just dealing with spots. If you look through enough old blogs you should be able to find plenty of them, although as you have obeserved there seem to be more cases of AT and AU.
