I joined up here less than a week ago and have been blessed to get to know that there are so many wonderful people out there who belong to our "hidden society" who can give me some comfort, some ideas, some advice....because up until last week, I have felt so totally alone, scared, embarrassed, and sad, not really having anyone to confide in who really understands what I am going through. I only wish that I can also contribute the same to all of you in the future. Thankyou. bk

Thankyou Sandy. i am dreading going out that door as i do each work day, wondering who will comment on my condition. I am a busy hair stylist and it has only been about 6 weeks since i started wearing wigs(which by the way are fun) and today WHO will be that one person tolook at me and say," do you have cancer??????" i know after a while, it will all be yesterdays' news. this whole thing is still new to me and stinks. The solice i get is when i am here and i try to draw the stregnth that each and everyone of you emits. I was doing okay until this whole 'sister thing' happened this weekend. it doesn't take much to set you back. God bless you . bk
