Today I brought a light brown hair dye. Since I found my first patch I haven't had my hair colored. I have always been blonde and always went to the hairdresser to get it done. I have been too scared to go and get it done, since the alopecia, I went and had a cut and that was scary enough.

I'm now at home wanting to color my hair as I have this horrible re-growth happening and I feel really horrible with it, my re-growth is a dark blonde/light brown. I have a lot of new re-growth and my hair did stop falling out for a while, but now I feel like it is starting again, I'm not loosing chunks or anything, but I didn't last time, it was a gradual thing.

So I still Haven't made up my mind, I really want to but, I'm hesitant....

Personally, I would definitely not be dying my hair.

I went through the same thing when I was loosing my hair and I personally decided not to dye my hair.

I've been through the same thought process. I caved in and used Henna several weeks ago...My thinned hair feels awesome now. I've also been using jojoba oil mixed into my shampoo and a few drops as a scalp massage at night before bed. It's been a long, long time since my hair looked or even felt good. Still have a patch growing in up front and I think the henna was a good disguise. Windy days are still not so good..... :(

I did it!! I went to the hairdresser and had an all over colour, just a tad darker than my re-growth and WOW, I cant believe the difference it has made, my hair looks fuller and i can see all the re-growth.
So happy I did it :0)
