I dont want to go thru what I went thru last year with discovering the patch and then seeing others develop.
Im so sick of playing this waiting game, i hate it, hate this alopecia!!!

A little scared today

so the battle continues, I'm loosing a lot of hair and not sure what to do, I'm trying not to stress like I did the last time it all happened!!
I just don't want to wake up one morning and not be able to hide the thinning (have no new patches). I don't know if I should go back to the dermatologist, don't know if it is really worth as he wont be able to do anything.

To dye or not to dye?

Today I brought a light brown hair dye. Since I found my first patch I haven't had my hair colored. I have always been blonde and always went to the hairdresser to get it done. I have been too scared to go and get it done, since the alopecia, I went and had a cut and that was scary enough.

I'm now at home wanting to color my hair as I have this horrible re-growth happening and I feel really horrible with it, my re-growth is a dark blonde/light brown. I have a lot of new re-growth and… Continue

So...is it all starting over again..!!!

Well, it seems that my hair is starting to come out again, I'm noticing the same pattern as last time and got really excited when all the patches started growing back and the overall thinning growing back, I still have new re-growth all over and honestly not sure if Im over reacting, all i can hope is Iam.
But i cant hide the feeling that its starting...again.....

First hair cut sense I found first patch!!

Hello, I had my first hair cut sense finding my first patch in feb this year.
It was a spur of the moment decision. My patches are growing back and I have new re-growth all over, so it was really good to get it tided up. I was very nervous at first as you can still see the patches (even though there is re-growth) and was nervous all thru the hair cut, but Im very happy i did it :0)

Regrowth...???

Well it seems my hair is growing back, however I cant help but worry that this will more than likely wont be a permanent thing and it will eventually fall out again...but then again, I should just be happy that so far so good. What mixed emotions this alopecia brings, getting used to the ups and downs is quite tricky, taking one day at a time seems to be the best action for me :)

Alopecia later in life

Im wondering about getting alopecia later in life, i had just turned 30 when i found my first patch and I read a lot how people have had it most of there lives.
I would like to talk to anyone who has got it later in life and has had positive results with the hair growing back. (hey, I can live in hope that my hair will grow back and not fall out again!).

So, were you older when you got alopecia, I would love to chat.
Bel :)
