Just came back from getting my shots.  Wow they hurt.  Asked the Doc if I should shave my hair and she said that if it were her she would not shave it.  So I will wait.  Also told me to try Rogaine for men in foam form along with the prescription  cream.  Has anyone tried the Rogaine?  I will keep you informed of the results.

I tried the Rogain for men.  It was prescibed by my Dr. to use with cream.  Had a little bit of re-growth but then it all fell out again.  Did have a little bit of facial hair (peach fuzz) not anything that was noticable except to me Like all treatments they all work differently for different people.  Good luck.

shave your hair completely. Rogain will not fix this.  You will feel amazing when you are free of stress.

Hair is not beautiful.  You are.

Hello Zeida,

Please take a look at the possible side effects of using anything before making a decision to put it on your body. I found that what was given to me to use by a Doctor I might add, could possibly cause worse things to happen to my body than losing my hair. Organ failure is not something to take lightly. God Bless Zeida.

Sincerely

Marie

I tried Rogaine a couple of years ago and it didn't do much of anything for me.  All the hair products  doesn't work for everyone.  The first dermatogist I saw when I was first diagnosed in 1997 prescribed the medicine Tagament , which is for reflux problem.   Also anyone who may have to have minor surgery, the anesthia may also affect any  hair you may have growing back.  It took out all my hair in 2 days.... I finally got my eyebrows back and lashes on one eye.  It took a little over 1yr and half for the to happen..

I was on the Rogaine a couple times but didn't really have any luck with it.  My doctor told me when she prescribed it that there have been people that had regrowth with it, but I had no luck.  The other thing to remember to is that if you start using it, you can never stop once you get growth because you will lose whatever you gained from it.

I only have 10% or less of my hair left.  It has quickly fallen day by day.  Appling the Roagaine wont be a problem.

The Doctor was the one that suggested I use it.  She said the Foam was the best.  Thanks I will buy it this week and start using it.

How long is your hair? ASK your doctor about the OLUX-E for daytime after shampoo--Prescription

only

I'm only on Rogaine 5% FOAM at night while I'm sleeping makes the hair messy and protopic ointment

on the 2 bald spots

I had to cut my hair to apply the foam It only works when it touches the scalp--But again I had TE and AA

so I had lost most of my hair and my derm told me it would be better for me just to cut it and start over

with a clean canvas( not completely shaving) just enough 1 1/2 inch all the way and watch it grow It's been

interesting that is for sure--I get excited everytime I walk by and see it

She is RIGHT DO NOT TRY ANYTHING without consulting your DOCTOR----It saids on the bottle for Men

not for Women but I promise you My DOCTOR saids only the FOAM works not the liquid as well--It has

a higher % and it works--I have not had any side effects as of today No hair on my upper lip, no facial

hair like a Man would get---Just on my head and it's all over not just in the patches it takes about 12

weeks to see it---Got to have a lot of patience
