I just need to thank you for this site and the support it has given. To know that I am not alone with this condition, and to know that there was light to be had during some of my worst dark times helped me not only to cope with this condition when it first hit earlier this year, but to thrive with this condition. There is strength in numbers and strength in sharing stories and testimonials about alopecia. THis site is nothing less than therapy and healing. Thank you.

Thanks RJ. This site has been such an asset to my life. It has helped in my process of realizing that I'm not alone and more importantly that I'm not my hair or lack there of. There is so much more to being a woman.

Ditto RJ, Alopecia World has done wonders for all of us. It created a safe community where we can talk, share and learn how to live better, more fulfilled lives WITH and sometimes BECAUSE of our alopecia.

Like Mukti said above without this site I don't think or at least I wouldn't know what would have become of me. Depression is a big thing for me and without all you wonderful caring people it would have been hard. I truly want to thank you for your site.

a truly fantastic site.its now a year since i lost my hair this has given me.knowlage, insperation, corrage and understanding of alopecia which i struggled to find in the first three months of being diagnosed,
i have met and made friends with poeple all over the world once again many! many! thanks

Hey rj, without this site I would not have had the courage to face daily life. I have become more out-spoken and more accepting of myself as being a person just like anyone else who have rights to be out in public. I used to avoid going out just because people used to stare and whisper. Now with confidence I have changed how I feel about myself and I can see a change in how others react towards me. It's not with pity. I have had several people come up to me and tell me how beautiful I look! Imagine that! lol Life is all good!
