"You look beautiful", or "You're beautiful" is just fine. A guy I didn't know came up to me on a busy sidewalk one time and said that - made my day.

I think back to this one woman that I ran into a while ago. It was mid-summer and she was covered in thick, black, curly hair and was sweating up a storm. She saw me and snuck up behind me and commented "I would so love to have your hair style right now". When I turned around I could tell she was hot, I smiled and told her it was convenient. It was a nice compliment without coming on too strong and it's always a boost for the self-esteem when someone wants something you have or don't have in this case ;)

Really, anything that is sincere. Anything that you say from the heart. I have had people say, "you know, you have a nice shaped head" or the funny ones are elderly people who think it is really strange for a female to have a bald head and could easily be taken aback by it have come up and said, "you know, bald suits you" I wore a hat once over to my Dad's house, shortly after I shaved off what I had left of my hair and was still a little uncomfortable with being bald and my Dad said, "why the heck are you wearing the hat, looks much better without" Since then I have hardly worn a hat, unless I am trying to prevent a sunburn. That comment meant the most to me because my Dad had a really hard time with the fact that I was going to shave it and seeing his little girl with no hair was almost as emotional for him as for me. But he made me feel beautiful by telling me that I didn't have to cover it up. It's all what you say from the heart, whatever you truly mean, is what you should say, can never go wrong with that.

My favorite compliments have been how pretty my hats are or how flawless and beautiful my skin is. I've also been told I have a nice shaped head :) You can always tell when someone is saying something from the heart :))

A lot of times people come up to me and tell me that my "hairstyle" really suits me. I like that since I feel that my alopecia/hairlessness has become me to the fact that it just looks natural on me.

I have just started going out ah natural a bit more often. I have had two memorable experiences with people.
The first was at our local Target store, I stopped in to pick up a few things, as I was looking at the movie section a group of special ed students came through, one young man looked at me & as he began to speak one of the teachers came over to step in if need be, but it was not needed, he said "hey lady, I really like your hair due, it's really neat, maybe I should do that, you look really pretty" I thanked him. His teacher looked at me & said the nice thing is you know it was honest & came from the heart. She was right.
The second was one afternoon I was leaving from a doctors appointment, as I was exiting a gentlemen & I met eye contact as we noticed we were both bald as a bean, we then smiled at each other, he then said looking down at me ( I'm a shorty) " looks good on you girl, have a good one" I thanked him & wished him a good rest of the day as well, because he certainly had made mine.
