Alopecia may be the most visible thing about your body that differs from others from the neck up, but if that VISION is what bothers you, you can change the vision to something you will accept for yourself, even if it is not "original" or "perfect."
Instead of concentrating on only ONE aspect, however (sight), you can assess your other senses as well (sound, smell, taste, touch), plus aspects of heart, mind, humor, empathy, creativity, musical or artistic talent, movement, verbal expression (or nonverbal communication!), sense of style or timing, endurance, loyalty, ability to remember a conversation or figure out a problem, temperature (warmth), softness or strength, etc. Even include the sparkle in your eyes, the tinkle of your laughter, or the dimple next to your smile...they are fleeting, and more in the category of revealing your soul. Now, if you have made two lists...one for hair, one for "other," I have a question for you: Which list is longest?
Another question: Think of your favorite cousin, aunt or uncle. What makes you love or like that person? I'll wager perfect hair was not your answer. When you are older and recall your best friends, you will have way more to tell about them than their hair. So, they probably have other things that THEY like about YOU, too. Give them more of your thoughts than those about your hair. Chances are, they will go home thinking primarily about the stories or laughs or adventures than what you looked like that day. There is SOOOOOO much more to beauty...
