Year 9 with alopecia
Hi All where does the time go?
It seems like it was yesterday that i found that first little bald patch on me...
I'm 2 days into my 9th year with alopecia.
While it wasn't an easy transformation I'm making the best of it. Thanks to all here and www.naaf.org
I've spent many hours over the years on Alopecia World. Helping myself and others to the best of my abilities. I've thoroughly enjoyed all the time I spend here with everyone.
I've gone to the NAAF Conferences every year since my diagnosis. Totally the best thing I ever did to gain acceptance with this disease. Unfortunately, I'm not able to make it this year but I'll return again next summer to see all my alopecian friends and meet new ones.
Anyway, all is good and i wish everyone the best.

Hey Jeffrey, hear you!! Naaf and think site, other groups etc a blessing! I try think of positive and not as many years as you, but have met some great people...many won't have without alocepia
