You are soo cute!! Thank you for trying to help with a name...
I think I thought of a catchy name.. Stay tuned
Yea, I did some advertising but, I have a Full Time job. I just do this on the side for fun.
I have had tons of gals ask to model, and all they want is the clothes they model in for payment. Which I think is pretty good deal! Dont ya??
But, I kinda wanna keep it simple for a bit. I just enjoy going to LA and getting able to see the up coming clothing. Also, another perk, I get to keep some for myself :)
Thanks for your suggestion Bob! You're so kind and helpful. I just went to see the dr recently and he says my condition had worsen. its AU now instead of AA. But i didn't take any shots cos i reacted badly to the shots. I told him i just wanna leave it that way and see what happens.
3mee is not my true name. My true name is Samantha Wong. I stay in Malaysia. I took the photo before I got AA. After that, I dare not take photos anymore. My new look? Minus the hair and eyebrow and hey presto - Its a new me! So I rarely go out to meet people nowadays. I only meet up with my best friends and family. That's why I am not in any kind of relationship.
I shaved my hair half year ago and bought myself a wig. I work in the concrete industry and its too hot and dusty-so the wig don't work. I took off the wig and everybody started to give me funny looks. I think the people in Malaysia is more conservative. The guys don't like bald women cos baldies seems to look more daring. Eversince, I lead a lonely life - go to work and home. Once in a while, i go back to my parent's house. But I promise myself i'll stay strong and overcome this disease. I am glad that met so many supportive people here. You guys may stay far, far away but every words that i wrote in here actually comes from the bottom of my heart. I never tell my family and friends how I feel. I keep it all to myself cos i don't want them to get worried. Whenever I am sad, I ll close myself up in the room and cry my heart out.
Hi Bob! What a nice warm welcome! Like you, I’ve also had AA for 35 years, and what a journey it’s been….I hope you will check out my YouTube channel and leave a comment to let me know what you think!
Thanks again!
Hi Bob! Really appreciate your positive comment. I am happy to have so many supportive friends here. I read some of the members' stories and was shocked that most of them have AA for more than 10 years. Seriously, i didn't know about that. But I am glad to meet people like you who's positive and learn to love yourself with or without hair.
I'll try to overcome the depressions. How do you accept this disease in the 1st 3 years? Any tips? Take care and keep in touch
Hi Bob, How are you doing Thank you for the info i will check it out. But I am so skeptical of all these things they say will help. The derm. Dr. gave me the injections of kenalog , I really didn't want them but she insisted on me getting them. So it caused my cortisol level to drop severely. Which created all sorts of different problems from my levels being so low. It Took a while for ando Dr. to figure out what was wrong with me. He thought I had Addison's so it was a scare until he realized it was the the steroid shots causing my levels to drop. So with that in mind you can understand my skepticism.
How is your son doing? I forgot if you said he was in college?
My son as I told you is home for the summer and he is working at my brothers hardware store for the summer.

Yes, it was hard for me in the beginning dealing with my AA. I was a young teenager and popular with the girls =) But now ive learned living with it. How was it for you?
I hope you have a great time with your son. I have a son too plus two grandchildren. I spent Mother's Day with my son and parents. It was a wonderful time. My granddaughter and her mom have been growing their hair for almost a year to donate to Locks of Love. They're getting it cut next month. I'm lucky enough to to with them for "the event."
Where is Folsom, CA? I've been to California a couple times and loved it.
Hi, Thats great news. I hope it continues. Today I'm not doing so great. I left work early cause I wasn't feeling very well. The weather is awsome outside and i'm stuck inside sick :(. I hope your day is better than mine.
Denise
Bob,
Thanks for the welcome. So many friendly people. I think so many of us feel we've had a very spiritual experience living through and with AA. For me it's provided an opportunity to see what is truly important in life. Now that I've found this web site, I wish I were going to the NAAF conference this year and could, perhaps, meet some of these people. Are you going to it?
