It has been a long time. How are you? I'm doing well. I met a few others with AU that live in my area we've gotten together a couple times now. We're supposed to have a get together @ least once a month. Would you be interested in joining us the next time we have another get together?
Thank you. I live in MD. Well I am going to continue to do it but the place says most insurances pay for full cranial prothesesis so I may be able to get it done for free. I am sure I have to pay for the hair do itself but if I can get the hair for free that would be GREAT. I understand about school between Grad school and my daughter life is crazy. I just have a laid back job.. but dont tell them.
Just came by to check on you. I see u are wearing that wig. Those are the days I love. The confidence is all over your face. Go girl. It is about to be time for me to get me a lace front. I have been making my own wigs for the last 8 years but since I am getting married decided to spend some money for someone else just this once.LOL.. So what is a good place to get an inexpensive lace front from?

Hi Beauty, thanks for the friend request and I love your confidence and willingness to help others. No one educated me on Alopecia when I was a little girl, my family just loved me and it gave me the confidence to be who I am now. I feel just as comfortable in a wig as I do when I have a freshly shaved head. You have wonderful goals, I'll be here routing for you!
Thanks for the kind comment! I'm always so happy to meet fellow Chicagoans! Glad to see ya in the group. I'm sad that I'm moving for a while to go back to school now that the Chicago group is growing. But I'll be back someday and hope to one day be able to get together with everyone!
