I'm back after a computer crash--lost everything including all my alopecia contacts. I'm trying to re-create my contacts & get back in touch. Are you meeting other alopecians? I'm ready to look for new options--wigs, hats, scarves. Do you have any recommendations in Indianapolis? Thanks for any leads, I hope you're well....Mary Beth

hi there i am like u never wear my wig in the house and keep it very private if some rude person asks i tell them it is a wig or im rude back lol i have 2 boys and they understand it is very uncomfortable to wear my wig all the time so we compromise they dont ask 2 often and when they do ask to have friends sleep over i say yes my boys are 15 and 21 and they adapt to the fact they jus cant walk in the house with friends they have to check im dressed which is what they shout out im not embarrassed that i wear a wig and my kids are not either although when they were really young they hated me to change colour and style but now they are fine there is nothing wrong with your children have n to compromise a bit they will not feel difrent from other kids they will just know these are the rules of your house

Oh ok well if you ever wanted to meet somewhere just let me know! Only thing is I'm so busy lately! Attending school full time and working whenever I'm not in school basically. But I'm sure we could find time sometime or another. And the short wig you see in my pic now is Jon Renau (I dunno if I spelled that right). The long one I have is Raquel Welch. ;o)
