I am slow to start this connection process; which is such a dichotomy considering I have no support system. So today is my start date. This truly is a encouraging, inspirational, honest and authentic community via the internet. I am grateful for everyone. For now unknown personaly, yet I have no doubt that there will be a sense of knowing in a spiritual and humanistic sense......

Thank you for your note and kind welcome and thank you also for this website. My wife and I are trying to educate ourselves and at the same time trying to provide love and support to our daughter. We are actually quite impressed with the way she has been able to handle it. This week we have scheduled two appointments at wig places. I've been impressed with her friends who have been highly supportive as well.

Every day, I'm filled with doubt, and wonder if there's hope to be had still. Being 28 (on sunday), divorced already, and used to never having a problem with my hair which was always long, thick, and curly. This journey has been confusing, frustrating, sad, and unlike any other I've faced thus far. One of the very few sources of hope for me is this website, I'm so glad it exists. thank you very much for your strength, your words of encouragement, and all you do. Sincerely, Sarah K.

I have been so lost not knowing what to do and at the point of giving up when I get an email from you helping me out I wish I had words to thank you but there just are never enough t explain how you have made me feel just knowing that you cared enough to show me the way and I know you have to be so busy at everything you do here and at home to show me the light of hope thank you and God Bless you.

It's not just the mirror--I'm looking at the sink, the shower, and my sheets and wondering whether there's more hair in those places or on me!!!
