I feel like I will experience an adventure like u described. Freedom is a wonderful thing and I remember when i was told dat one day i may have to shave my head or all my hair would completely fall out i used to cry. but i got used to da idea and when i 1st joined dis site i had neva saw any women who have shaved their heads and hearing your story and others and seeing you all have inspired me in some way. you are so beautiful and i hope dat when i shave my head i will look as beautiful as you do.

So glad to meet you, I too shaved my head it was wonderful, did the wig thing for a few days then decided like my bald head better. Got a few strange looks from people like oh poor girl must be sick, but for the most part people really like it shaved.
It's since grown back for the most part have a few spots starting again body hair and an eyebrow falling out so not sure about continuing the shot anymore. So glad I found this site cause for the last year I felt so alone.

I know the feeling. I remember my first time going out Bald. At first I stood at the door with my hand on the door knob for 5 minutes, before I finally walked out. After I was out for a bit, I really felt great.

Dats really great!!! Im happy for u. I have heard many women tell their stories about how it felt da 1st time they cut their hair and how it was a wonderful experience. I have AA and my hair at the moment is growing back to da point where I can wear weave and things like dat and at da moment dats cool but I do look for da day in da future when my hair will stop growing and I shave my hair for da 1st time 2.

Thanks for the compliments.. My daughter has not really dealt with any problems as she goes to a small school and she started growing hair back within 4 months. I was able since her hair was really long to keep the spots covered and the one you could see she told them she didnt want to talk about. Hey it is all about being comfortable with you. I love me and yes I have bad days but I always think it could be worse.
