Laura Hathaway's Courageous Day

Laura stated that -- "The video I am sharing with you captures the essence of a day that I will never forget. Turning 45 was an opportunity for me to shed some of the past. I decided it was my time to live with or without my hair. Since Alopecia Universalis took my hair 9 years ago, I have chosen to wear a wig to help me recover from the shock and awe of it all. Today, I decided to start a new chapter in my life. I went to the Gym today with no hair on. I have lived wearing a prosthetic hair piece as a must for myself. Now, I will go with or without hair as a true choice (The false lashes and powdered brows are a must).
This piece of work would not be possible with out the creative eye of Michael Anderson. Thank you Mike for capturing my emotions with no words needed."

Simply gorgeous!  I was truly able to connect with your energy and spirit as it brought tears to my eyes remembering my own experience.  Shedding your covering is very liberating and it sends a possible message of peace, acceptance and indeed courage.  It saids I am beautiful inside and out; it saids I love me, like me and appreciate me; it saids I am not going to allow people to dictate my life.  It saids hair does not define me, hair does not make me nor will it break me.  It saids I am choosing to live my life outside of the boundaries and limitations set for me by setting my own.  Amen!

This is amazing, I can't believe I have wasted so much time being upset about having alopecia. You are truly inspirational. This video goes to show that you don't need hair to be happy.
