Laura stated that -- "The video I am sharing with you captures the essence of a day that I will never forget. Turning 45 was an opportunity for me to shed some of the past. I decided it was my time to live with or without my hair. Since Alopecia Universalis took my hair 9 years ago, I have chosen to wear a wig to help me recover from the shock and awe of it all. Today, I decided to start a new chapter in my life. I went to the Gym today with no hair on. I have lived wearing a prosthetic hair piece as a must for myself. Now, I will go with or without hair as a true choice (The false lashes and powdered brows are a must).
This piece of work would not be possible with out the creative eye of Michael Anderson. Thank you Mike for capturing my emotions with no words needed."

You're beautiful without the wig. I have had AU for a little over a year. I only just accepted my hair's not coming back. I don't even want to answer the door without at least a scarf on. I hope I reach the point where my hair does not define me. Congratulations!

I hope you realize what a story like yours means to mothers of daughters with alopecia.   It got me through the day seeing what you did.  God bless and keep up the good work.

Also I don't want to minimize the physical shape you are in.  How about some personal training videos.  Frankly, you look so great I'm jealous!

My God, I watched the video with tears in my eyes, so beautiful. What an inspiration !! Hopefully I will be able to go "outside" without my wig on one day ....

It has been 1 1/2 years with AU (60 years old) and this winter, while on vacation in Mexico, I did the same thing. When I went to the pool I did not cover my head at all. I did notice the stares, but I really didn't care. Big step!

Honestly, I think you look so much better without a wig.  It could be that I too am bald and I embrace it.  I love to see woman that have the courage to go natural; it's so inspiring.  You are beautiful.  Happy Birthday.

Laura -  I'm so happy for you.  First of all, you're absolutely gorgeous without a wig.  What courage, what beauty.  All the support and love you receive only suuports everything everyone is saying.  i have two questions:  what eyelashes are you wearing and which glue are you using?  I'm asking because I do some sweaty sports and want the lashes to stay on.  Also, how do you powder in your brows.  What pwder do you use?  I'm asking for the same reasons as for the lashes.  What a wonderful and joyous birthday gift you gave yourself.
Free at last ...  Love, Adrienne
