Anyone doing the Pfizer medication trial for RITLECITINIB? How is it working? They are now in Phase 2. You have to be under 50 to participate. Google Pfizer Alopecia is you want to participate. They will actually pay you for your participation and give you free medication.

Hello Sydap I had an appointment with a new dermatologist this week and she is going to start me on the Pfizer drug. She said I am an excellent candidate very excited!

Hi Linda.  Very pleased for you.  Can I ask where you live? I’m using tofacitinib off label and live in the U.K.

I live in MA and I have been on zeljanz since May great results except no eyebrows for some reason.

I get paid $50 for every visit, I have one visit every three months.

When I started the study I was totalis "severe", I had some hair maybe 10% of my head and it came and went. I have had full regrowth, and no side effects.

H what are they using in your trial?

Ritlecitinib (Pf-06651600)

They're accepting more people into the study

That's great news!  When did you start taking the medication?

Two years ago, growth started within the first month or two.

I've been on the Ritlecitinib (Pf-06651600) trial in California for about 9 months.  Was AA/AO for the first time in my life, starting at age 35m before joining the trial.  The drug began working after about a month and a half and after 5 months my hair has grown back entirely.  For what it's worth, I'm generally an active lifestyle person, running 5ks a few times a week and I have experienced zero negative side effects from this drug.  I am extremely grateful that it works and I wanted to share this so that it gives people hope.  It was hoping to get on this trial during COVID last year that kept me going and I was determined to do so.  Much love to all of you, my heart is with you and you are not alone.  Be well.

hi great does pfizer continue to provide you with the pf? do you know the difference between pf and xeljanz because i have been under xeljanz for 3 years and i don't have a good hair answer

Wish I could answer these questions.  I won't be getting PF after the 2 year trial ends for me in June of 2022.  I don't have a plan but would not want to go on Xeljanz if there's a better option.  Hard to say.  Maybe there will be a trial extension.

I don't know the difference between PF (Ritlecitinib) and Xeljanz.

This stuff is way above my paygrade but from what I can tell, xeljanz is JAK1 & 3 and pf is JAK3. So it's related to the pathway, and pf is more selective from what I understand.

here's what've read to get that conclusion..
