Erica by Amore worried about my fringe/bang cutting skills eek help!

I have a wig by Amore called erica.

The fringe/bangs were way to longon me so I attempted to cut them.

I cut them straight across and now I am a bit worried I look like one of those lego men with the plasitc hair!!

I found some thinning shears...should I thin it?

I can't afford to go and get it cut professionally.

Any tips for fringe/bang cutting on a bob style

Always cut bangs with the wig on your head not on a block. I usually just use small sissors to nip in little pieces so they are not so straight. This is how my hair dresser cut my own bangs when I had them. My hairdresser did my own wigs before I got a custom one and she only charged me 10 - the same as if they were my bangs. She had a private room she did this for me in.

thanks, yeah I did it this way and how I think I have fixed it ok. I think next time I will get it professionally done - less stress :)

I guess I would just go to a normal hair salon here in Dunedin, NZ as I don't think we have anywhere that specialises. I'm a bit worried about doing that. I guess I could ring around and see if any hairdressers would do in privacy as I don't want people looing at me funny

great idea - I am sure there is a private room - even if in a back room. I am not picky about the room - I just like pirvacy. I was lucky my room was nice : ) And yes it is much less stressful for them to do it. Have them cut them long. Look and see how much more you want cut. Do it in a few increments so you can control the lenght.

Invest in the CREA Clip. It will be the best $29.95 you ever spent. http://creaclip.com/
