Experience of JAK1 for Alopecia?

Hi!

I wonder if anyone here has any experience with JAK inhibitors that only focus on JAK1 and have had any regrowth? Rinvoq is an example.

Is Xeljanz the best one or can any other JAK work?

I was on Xeljanz for almost a year. Stopped December 2020. Went from 10mg/ day to 20mg/ eventually. Never grew a single strand of hair. I got it for free through the Xelsource program. I was so convinced it would work, I purchased 10 boxes of Tofacinix from Beacon to have ready to go once my free Xeljanz ran out. Guess who now has 10 unopened boxes of Tofacinix? Yep. Me. Smh. Recently I started the CTP-543 trial. 5/4/21 will be week 4. However, it’s a double blind trial with placebos so I might not even have the active drug. Here’s to hope! CTP-543 is a different JAK than Xeljanz. I have AU since March 2019. I’d Never had a single incidence of hair loss in my life until then. I’m 40.

je suis persuadé que les voies JAK diffèrent selon les individus ... Pour certains, c'est JAK 1/3 (Tofa) d'autres JAK 1/2. (Ruxo, Baracitinib) .... Ils ont en commun JAK 1!

Oui, je pense que Jak1 inhibitor fonctionnera pour certains

Please keep us or me posted on your progress. Daughter was on Xelijanz for a year or so and grew hair but it fell out over the months following her stopping it. Thank you

Hello Alo-mom, why did she stop it? Did she have sideeffects

I am very curious why did she stop it because I have got my daughter 11 years old on 28 this month is gone be 12 month on xeljanz 5g twice a day 

She has got the hair but I am scared every day about her health ... and she might be in the same situation as it was before ...even worse ...

Are you interested in selling the unopened boxes?  Keep us all informed on the CTP-543 trial results.  What is the Xelsource program?
