I have been using a Mary Kay eye pencil over my fading tattooed eyebrows. While the color is perfect, it is hard to apply because the pencil tip is so hard!

Does anybody have any recommendations for a creamy eyebrow pencil that goes on smoother?

Thanks!

Aimee,

I use MAC Spiked Eye Brows. It works REALLY good and goes on good too. I had my eyebrows tattooed on, but I need to go in for the touch up because they are not dark enough. But the MAC pencil makes them look perfect!!
Hey Tamara...I did a search on the mac pencil...so I could look into it. And I found people who have found the exact match. There's even a youtube video showing the exactness. The product is Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil. The video even showed the color was exactly the same. And they were saying it's between $6 and $8 at local stores...specifically found at Target is what I read. Just something to check out.
I use cover girls brow pencils their cheap and work great . I've been drawing my brows since I was like in 6th grade long before my bout with alopecia.
Hi Aimee

I have one eyebrow that decided to start to go away recently (right in the middle of it) and I found that the makeup brand Anastasia makes a nice eyebrow powder. It stays on all day without any type of sealant or wax which is great. I picked it up at Sephora.

I also just ordered a pencil from headcovers.com so I will let you know how that one is when I get it.

Hi Jocelyn, I'm heading to Sephora today. I'm glad I checked in - I'll look for Anastasia. Thanks for the tip. Hope all is well.
I was just writing on your wall! hahah I bought the darkest powder (espresso) it comes with 2 shade a lighter and a darker
Clinique just came out with 2 colors that go on smooth and with fine lines, in retractable metal case instead of wood that can scratch. I got the free demo yesterday...quite nice! You can simulate individual hairs, and it is creamy smooth.
I'm glad to see replies, my right brow is disappearing, worse than before, part of it seemed to fill in a little! But I have resigned myself to the fact that it may fall out like most of my hair! Tamara, I have never had a tat, have considered getting a small one. My baby sister has many, I just might get my first one soon if it looks like the rest of my brow is going to go away forever. Any recommendations you can share would be appreciated!
I use a Bobbie Brown eye pencil or powder. I also found ELF products and use the brown felt tip to pencil in and then rub it in with some powder.
I also use Anastasia. But I use the brow pen instead of the powder. I'll have to look into the powder too. But, I do really like the brow pen out of everything I've tried. Including the real HH brows. Take a look into my pics...I have a really close one.
Hey Guys!

I just got my order of fake real eyebrows from headcovers.com and my water resistant pencil. The eyebrows look so real! I haven't totally lost my right eyebrow it looks like someone took an erasers and made a line int he middle but I think when I lose one of the sides it may be time to take the other side off and try this. The color may be a little lighter than my real brow but I think it's also due to the density. The eyebrows are thinner than the way I wore my eyebrows but I thin I could go to a salon and ask them to wax the fully grown in eyebrow to match the fake.

The pencil on the other hand goes on real smooth and looks good. I bought black coffee which blends better than other pencils I have used but i still think my brows may be a little darker. I think it's a nice drawing tool where the other pencils I have are very waxy and a good touch up tool. I would recommend it for people loking for a pencil and it's only 9.99.

Have a great day!
