I *love* my two new Buffs! But I'm having trouble figuring out how to tie it.

Do you all just tuck the extra material into the back, or do you tie it in a little knot? I've been tying it in a knot, but it doesn't look as good as when I tie a scarf in a knot. Any advice appreciated!

Hey Aimee,
I do the simple tuck into the lower material and scrunch up the sides to give some fullness. In the end, I'm sleeping in it most of the time just so my head doesn't get cold at night.
I hope you love them...I love my buffs too.

Hi Aimee.. i bought these bandanas called Headsox, and you dont have to do any tying etc.. you just slip it on your head. They are an australian company and i bought them online. They are really comfortable. Just another idea :-)
Cheers, Snowflake :-)

I'm not familiar with a buff but I know I love pre-tied bandanas, they are pre-tied head scarves with an elastic in the back which makes it one size fits all. They come in many different prints and appliques and some even have a padding in the front to give it some height. I purchased quite a few at www.myheadcoverings.com and am really happy with them! You should give it a shot I'm sure you'll love them!

To me, buffs were the greatest creation on earth!! They looked cool and I felt comfortable in them and I still wear them now even though I don't need to! They will always mean something to me-a big part of my life and I'm glad you love them too! They weren't very well known when I got mine a few years ago but i'm glad they 're getting the publicity they deserve!

Anyway! Tying them: I always did mine in one same way everyday for school, when I had short hair and long hair I always did the same:
STEP ONE: Turn the buff inside out
STEP TWO: slip it over your head and neck so that it's like a neck scarf-or even necklace.
STEP THREE: From the front part near your face, pull over half so that half is covering half of your head(the bit on your head will actually be inside out)
STEP FOUR: take the bottom part that is covering your face now and pull it over your head, so far over that it'll cover the part on your head that is inside out-No need to tie anything!

Hopefully this is simple enough, if not-message me i'll try to help some more. I know there are video demos out there too so check them out too xx
