NAAF Conference

So I've always been a day late and a dollar (or lots of dollars lol) short of attending a NAAF Conference. I was wondering if anyone could let me know what I could expect as far as expenses, what kind of rates the hotels go for and what other expenses there are so I can be proactive this year and try to save money to go! I would love to go this year especially since its in LA and I want to go back there so bad! Also, do you have to stay at the hotel that the conference is at?

I would like to know this as well. I too would like to go back to LA. Also, do many people attend who have other forms of Alopecia? I have AGA. I was told that the presentations/speeches all refer to AA but I was curious if anyone goes who has AGA.

Hi Jaime,

I have attached a copy of last years program that can give you a good idea of the schedule and rates for the Indiana hotel that we stayed in. You can probably do a rough estimate from there.

Also, you can try a couple of searches on phrases such as NAAF, conference, naaf 2010 and other combinations in the photo section to see some photos.

You do not have to stay at the hotel, but I would recommend it because, you just end up staying up so late! This way you don't miss anything.

thanks for the info, I found it very helpful! I think knowing all of this information this far in advance will make it a little easier to save the money. It bummed me out that when I first learned of NAAF and the conference was the year AFTER they had it in Boston, which is where I live....(murphy's law lol) My dad and I went out to LA before and want to go back for a dodgers game (we went to an angels game) so I hope the dodger's schedule matches up with this trip!

No you don't have to stay there but I highly recommend it. You also get the group rate through NAAF and it's much cheeper. It is not till June 24-27 so you can start saving your $$$ now. It is life changing and I would not miss it again this year. It will make 2011 the best year ever. Good luck I hope you can make it happen.
