Need help finding a wig
Hi what type of wigs do you all recommend? I know real human hair wigs are better but they are pricy well for me since money is really tight for me.. I have bout 2 synthetic wigs lace front what if any experience have you had with lace wigs?

Hi Bianca, The decision to buy a certain wig involves many issues. You must think about your degree of hair loss, your lifestyle, your desired hair style, your talent in styling hair, your face shape are all things you need to take into account. human hair wigs are not necessarily better than synthetic. There are many good synthetic wigs that look very natural on the market.
Lace wigs are in fashion right now but are delicate, and can be too hot for some women. The current craze for lace wigs stems from the African American community, since they have hair that is very curly, it is difficult to get an open can to lay well. But for Caucasian women the open cap can be more comfortable than a closed cap.
So I guess my answer to your question is that no one can really recommend a wig online without seeing you. The market is flooded with wigs manufacturers at all levels. Try to find a professional that is honest and does not have an agenda to sell you the most expensive product out there.

I wear synthetic wigs of all lengths and types. I love them! Are you wanting to try a full lace wig with human hair or synthetic? If money is tight for you, I would suggest that you stay with synthetic wigs. Human hair can be very costly, and takes maintenance. You can find synthetic wigs online at great prices, but you take the risk of not liking it. However, if you don't end up liking it then you can try to sell it on eBay. What brand did you try for the synthetic lace front wigs? I think Gabor has some great styles. This is a review of pictures of one of my Gabor lace front wigs...

There are a lot of things to consider so each person has to decide what is best for themselves, or what they want/need from a wig.

I feel it is always better to work out your needs around what you want a wig/hairpiece to be able to do for you. Everybody has criteria's around their needs and wants. To help organise this I would recommend you make a list, from most important to least important. Then investigate all the options available to you to help make an empowered and informed decision.
When I was looking for my daughter I did this and it did really help with my decision making. My daughter and I wanted something that looked absolutely real, was comfortable, was secure, was easy to look after, and was durable. I then went and investigated what was available ticking of the things we didn't feel we could compromise on. We found a wig that ticked the boxes and have been very happy with the choice for the last 10 years. When we made the decision we felt knowledgeable and fully empowered through the process.

I have started purchasing human hair full lace wigs, I purchase these from a Chinese Vendor. I have recently bought a 12 inch bob style and a 20 inch long style, these are beautiful wigs , made to my
Petite head size and the total cost of both wigs including postage to Australia was $395.00.

Where ever did you get wigs so cheap? I would definately like to try one for so little cost. How long have you been getting them, and how long will one last? Do they tangle and how are they to care for?

Hi, I have been getting the wigs from china, they have lasted well over 1 year so far, as I bought my first two in October 2011. Both of those were Brazilian human hair, but I found them too fine for me personally, so I have recently bought an Indian HH and a Chinese HH. These are both denser hair strands.
I am dealing with a lady called Wendy Hu, of Qingdao Bolin Trade Co.,Ltd. You can contact her on sales2@bolinwigs.cn and ask for her by name. You are best to order a human hair colour wheel, so you know which colour you want.
The wigs have not tangled and I wash them about every 2 weeks depending on the weather and perspiration. Please let me know if you require any thing else.

Ok, so they don't tangle? Are they long hair? The Brazilian hair you say it too fine. Such as Russian European hair? Are they really hard to take care of, and after washing, how to dry and style? Do you use special shampoo/conditioners? Is it expensive? Do you live in a hot climate?

I have two lengths, the long one is 20in and the other is a shortish bob and is 12in.
The 20in is made from Indian hair and the 12in is made form Chinese hair., they are both a bit courser than the Brazilian hair, it is a personal preference.
They are very easy to wash, I fill a basin with warm water and shampoo and gently swish the wig around, then I leave the wig soaking for about 10-15 mins. I then rinse by holding the wig under the tap and allow the water to rinse off the shampoo. I then refill the basin with warm water and add the conditioner, I gently move the wig around in the basin and agin leave it soaking for about 10 mins.
One very expensive lesson I learnt many years ago, was that you can't scrub/rub shampoo or conditioner into a human hair wig,it ends up like a horrid kind of birds nest.
I blot most of the water from the wig then place the wig on a wig stand or a bottle and air dry.
When the wig is nearly dry I put rollers in and let it dry naturally.
As you can see it is very easy to care for a human hair wig, because I can do it.
I live in a very warm/hot climate in Queensland, Australia, and I do perspire a lot, but I have found that if I wipe my head daily with a rubbing alcohol , I don't seem to perspire as much on my head.

I think the first consideration is your size and if it is readily available, mine is not so it limits my options. Having the right size makes all the difference in looks and comfort. Second is comfort. I live in Texas, and in December it can even be hot! Choose materials that work for your climate.
I have also found synthetic hair to be less natural looking than HH. When I was much younger there were very few options so I used synthetic, but today I think a new user should try HH and even the Robo hair if it fits your budget.
It is important to avail yourself of all the information you can. Today there are so many options and you meed to be educated when wig shopping. It is easy to get sold on something only to be stuck with something you don't want.

i think you can choose the real human hair not the synthetic hair, maybe the full lace wigs are more expensive, but the lace front will be favorable. it just need about $150 not exceed the $200. i think the price you can accept. i search one place can bought the price on this price. the synthetic hair really very easy to tangle. On the other hand, even if you spend much money but you bought one good quality wig and you also can use it long time. i think this also very favorable.
