What's on your list? next person.. . .

Yes, there is a good feeling when we can take off the hairpiece and rub our head. . .one of the best/soothing  feelings in the world.

Hi all,

We have a lot of the same things on our lists! Thank you.  This will be my ":go to" when I feel said or need a pick me up.

Happy????????????  What is Happy???  Have not been happy in years.

There are a million aspects to being a person, a friend, a family member, a traveler, a citizen, an artist, a researcher, or a caregiver (even for a pet). Hair has nothing to do with most of these, so look to all those other skills and attributes instead of to hair!

I'm not happy all the time either, but I try to get "snatches" of time when I really enjoy the moment.

Happy is subjective.  I like contentment better. (proper english?--please excuse me)

appreciate what you have.  and find your own brand of "happy:"

Puppies
Seeing my friends and family happy
Rainy days
Waking up every morning
Writing
Jesus
Freedom
Relaxing
Coming home after work
Many other things... :)

Dancing

West Coast Swing

Crazy fun cowboy dancers

A good waltz

A great nightclub 2 step

Riding my Ducati - with AU there is no such thing as helmet hair!!

My dogs

Hunting

Hiking

Swimming

Lazing in a floaty in the pool

Books

Audiobooks

Loving texts

No bad hair days!

Showing dogs

Making friends laugh

Stargazing

Good friends

Good food

Good wine

Silly things on Facebook

Jazz, blues, acoustic guitar music, sixties oldies, musicals, long talks with friends, immersing myself in work, organic gardening, art, travel, friends with intelligent wit.

Very interesting post, but do you know since I realised that there is nothing i can do about my hair, I got a wig and have had so many compliments I don't think I want my own hair back,  I can shower before bed, without having to worry hair will be awful by the morning, I can get ready for work in record time, I have had eyebrows tattooed on and look great,  so realised that there are too many positives to not be happy about it, I also improved my diet, having correct nutrition has made a massive difference to who I am, more energy and I feel cleaner inside after giving up dairy and wheat amongst other stuff, I never eat chemical based food or processed,  or alcahol, so all in all alopecia has made me a better person both spiritualy and mentally.
