HI Guys,

Has anyone imported Xeljanz from india via Fedex?

Just wondering if its reliable and if it gets through customs without issue.

Hey Paul, what steroids medicine did you use? Nicole would it be okay to mix steroids with tofacinix? I’m just worried that what if I’m not a responder ?

Hi Ricky,

I used Prednisone for 3 months with Tofa to speed up the process. It did work great but Prednisone has severe side effects.

Honestly I’m at a point that I don’t mind using prednisone, but what were the side effect and how much dosage were you taking? I need to boost my immune system

Hello Nat, I m a very very slow responder too, what’s the prednisone dosage you took to speed up and where I can get the generic version in US as dermatologist may not prescribe by just asking for it!? Any advise please would be if great help! Thanks in advance.

Hi Ricky and Rajeev,

I started at 60mg/day for 3 weeks, then 50mg/day for 3 weeks, then 40mg/day for 2 weeks and then I got off by myself reducing by 10mg/week.

The main side effect I had - a moon face. Also, acne and sleeping problems.

Rajeev,

  • I had a prescription from my rheumatologist. I don't know where to get it without a prescription.
  • I am still on Tofa -5mg morning and 11mg evening. I didn't have any shedding after I stopped Prednisone.
  • Don't worry about asking questions - most doctors are no help. I am following in Nicole's footsteps.

Hey Nat, I’ve been on tofacinix only for a week now, tomorrow I’m going to my dermatologist for steroids injections on my eye brows. However I’m going to start prednisone just the way you did! Did you grow vellus hair first or? And do you think it’s too early to start prednisone or should I wait another 3weeks? Hoping for your earliest reply , thank you

Also are you still on tofa and did your hair fall off after you reduced the steroids? I know I sound dumb asking you so many questions but trust me I don’t want to live like this anymore. I will go through any heights to get my hair back

Hi Ricky,

Prednisone speeds up the process and I had some hair in 4 weeks. If you are not in any rush - it's safer to wait on Prednisone. I took it because I wanted to get rid of the wig for the summer (to enjoy swimming, gym, rollercoasters...).

I am still on Tofa - 5mg morning, 11 mg evening. I had no shedding after stopping Prednisone.

Please don't worry about asking questions - most doctors are no help.

Well I want to speed up the process too because I can’t see myself going anywhere. It’s like I’m stuck . But did you have vellus hair at first or?  And how did you balance the dosage? Are u still on tofa? And are you off prednisone or ?

My timeline.

AU for 7months.

January 1st,  2019 - started Tofa 10mg/ day.

January 23rd, 2019 - started Prednisone 60mg/day, increased Tofa to 15mg/day.

End of February - vellus hair appeared, reduced Prednisone to 50mg/day.

March 2019 - moonface from Prednisone, reduced to 40mg/day. Keep taking Tofa 15 mg/day.

End of Aplril - stopped Prednisone, taking 16mg/day of Tofa.

End of June - stopped wearing a wig.

I am still on Tofa 16mg/day, no Prednisone since April.

I am planning to stay on Tofa indefinite.
