I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.

I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.

Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.

The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.

I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

Thanks Nicolas.

ok xeljanz spiritual woman.

so you have full head of hair albeit not visible.

My objection as i said, is the term "miracle". Miracles should be recognized

by everyone, or else they are more of psychological tricks to help ourselves.

There is nothing to add here.

I didn't say you are scamming but rather exaggerating things.

Its ok if you wish so.

Miracles are not recognized by everyone. Everyone is not spiritually the same; they do not believe in a personal Creator, who gave humans the wisdom and scientific intellect to medically treat various diseases. I give praise and worship to Jehovah God, who I prayed to for 6 years, for my hair to grow back. It's a personal miracle of science to me and I appreciate it daily. Thus, my name.

wonderful i remember your first picture now you have a lot of hairs i think in 3-4 months you'll have full hairs.

i dont see any exaggeration, xeljanzmiracle came from a situation with no hair to growing some , in the meantime she tried everything she could as everyone here did or is doing with no results until xeljanz came by.

To me that's a miracle. What ive seen so far is that you icarus havent contributed in a positive way to this discussion, but more complaining about a product you don't have any experience with.

THANK YOU Dr. Who for your support and understanding. I appreciate it.

ok, ok, ok

Perhaps your "miracle" needs some miracle to be seen as a miracle.

I will pray for you and your negative attitude. Peace, Icarus.

I wanted to comment on the last string of discussions. My 15 year old daughter had very little if no hair on her head or eye brows as of July 23rd 2015. Now 4 months later, she has complete growth of all eye brows and a full head of hair. That's with 2 pills a day. It's easy to be quick with negative judgement...but this website is here to share our collective experiences. Xeljanz is a miracle and it DOES work...but not for everyone. Our family is truly grateful for Dr. King and for the great advances being made in Alopecia treatments. So let's try to stay positive and help each other. Merry Christmas to all.

Thank you Seahawks Dad for your positive and truthful reply. Do you have any recent pictures of your daughter's regrowth?

Here is a picture of the back of her head taken about 2 weeks ago.
