I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.

I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.

Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.

The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.

I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

I have seen that picture but could you also make a picture of the box and the pills which you have at home now??

Thanks for sharing. Can you describe exactly the steps to take...on how to purchase. I know ADML was getting the tablet tested for accuracy.

$2,700 US vs $616 is a huge difference. How many can you purchase at one time?

Pfizer do have a manufacturing division in two cities in Turkey, Istanbul and Amara.

The pharmacy I ordered mine from sent me a copy of the order to Pfizer Turkey, but it's always good to get further confirmation via ADML.
You say you ordered it? Like online?
No I went to Turkey and bought them in person.

how many can you purchase at one time? I'm just wondering if you bought 3 Xeljanz's one day...then came back the next to buy another 3, etc

I just bought 3 boxes because that's all I could afford.

Plus didn't want to take the risk with customs in case they check and see so much tablets. Could raise questions.

I brought back 10 boxes from Turkey with no issues. As long as it's for personal usage (i.e not bringing back 100 boxes etc...) you won't have a problem .

It is widely cheaper out there but in order to recommend it I want to check the authenticity and if they are exactly the same as the Xeljanz from elsewhere in the world.

Thank you very much for helping us on this...if it's the same strength it represents an amazing financial break through. Please keep us updated
Hi can you upload s picture of the packet and a picture of the tablet. Thanks

hello do you think with a maintenance dose hair no longer will fall?
You know someone who is maintenance dose? for you what would your dose to maintain good result? it can be maintained for several years has xeljanz small dose without risk? all this really complicated if dr brett king does not know all answers !!
