I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.

I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.

Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.

The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.

I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

Omg tbis is awesome, thanks for pointing this out!

hello do you think with a maintenance dose hair no longer will fall?
You know someone who is maintenance dose? for you what would your dose to maintain good result? it can be maintained for several years has xeljanz small dose without risk? all this really complicated if dr brett king does not know all answers !! where do you live sabri ? i"am live france  I know many Turkish in France and I am not far from turkey !! kebab is delicious

The woman on Instagram is a friend of mine. She had wonderful results and is continuing to have hair growth. She was on 10mg a day for 4-5 months and is now on 5mg a day. She is truly a beautiful person inside and out and has inspired me to stay positive through all this. From what she has said, she was only taking Xeljanz with Biotin and eating a lot of protein. Her pictures remind me that miracles can happen.

Serinaadele...those results are from just 5 months on 10 mg a day of Xeljanz? That's amazing!

I follow her as well. She's documenting her entire growth she was AU for four years.
That's amazing!! Exciting!! :) can I ask of you was on anything prior to talking Xeljanz? And if you would be open to stay on a maintenance dose?

Has anybody had any success with getting this prescribed in the UK? I would be wary to go to Turkey and buy these pills without guidance from a dr.

You won't get this prescribed in the UK because it's not approved medication by the authorities. Expect a very long wait, hence going to other countries to get it.
