well i'm not completely au but closer to this than anything else so i've joined anyway...why is it that some random hairs just keep on growing when all the rest have fallen out?! like underarm hair...

So it's not just me then? I thought I was doing something wrong since my wigs seem to dry out so fast. It seems like after about 3 months they start to frizz on the ends pretty bad. And I only wear mine to work pretty much. When I get home it is like my shoes, the first thing that come off!

It's really good to realize there are others out there who have AU. It's a pretty rare disease, I guess. Even when I have talked to my dr. about it, she didn't seem comfortable. I had never thought too much about eyebrows or lashes. I've always been more concerned about my head. I just draw the brows on with an eyeliner pencil and smudge it a little which has worked OK for me. I have light skin and had light hair so it must be harder for those who have had darker hair. Someone mentioned they don't have very good luck with a synthetic wig after a month. I use Henry Margu Shampoo for Wigs, Brandywine Wig Restorer and Estetica Luster Mist which keep it going for another 2-3 months, or longer if necessary. I give credit to those who can go without a wig!

Definitely a bonus having smooth legs, no shaving underarms etc.
Mari I'm glad that I'm not the only one who runs out of shampoo for the kids. My boy's always tell me when its run out completely and not before lol. I need to get my eyebrows done again, they lasted really well. Definitely worth it. Eyeliner to would be great too.
