hey guys - I have been so slack with my alopecia work this year - and I apologise to anyone waiting for me to organise a meeting - my problem is I now work weekends - great for extra cash and to get me away from being a mum for a few hours... I need a sanity break!! but not great for organising get togethers.... I hope to organise a Brisbane based meeting in the New Year...

Always happy to chat

hey everyone - i noticed that you only have 25 other members so far, and the comment that the group might not be active. hopefully this isn't news to you, but when i lived in Melbourne there were very active branches of NAAF in various cities that I attended during my travels. Have any of you guys connected with them and/or shared this site? Hope that's helpful....JP

new to the group but have had alopecia for 33yrs now never spoke to anyone who suffers from this before and never new of any such groups, when I first lost my hair my parents tried there hardest to hide it even though my dad had it when he was younger and now has it

Hi Everyone.
I'm a Kiwi, who now lives in Ipswich, and works in Brisbane. Haven't had Alopecia for very long (First hair loss noticed in November 2007), so I still have a lot to learn.

I'm new too - lovely to feel part of a group.
I am interested in treatment optionas that you may be using. I think I am trying everything but just want to be sure!
