I was wondering if anyone has had any liver issues? The same time I was told I had Lichen planopilaris, I was also told that my liver enzymes were high.
Reading up on liver issues it looks like the two could be connect? Just wondering if anyone else had the same issues?
Thanks,
Ellen

Hi Ellen. My liver enzymes are always raised, they have been for years, every time I have a blood test. I'm always asked if I drink. I'm teetotal!

Hi Liz.
I am the same way. My Dad was an alcoholic so I know the damage. The doctor did not seem to believe me when I told him I hardly drink. Very aggravating.

Hi Houle
I also periodically have raised liver enzimes. My bile duct has a habit of getting blocked (build up of scar tissue) and this adversely effects my liver, resulting in jaundice and general malaise. I've just had an ERCP at Kings so hopefully my bile duct problem will be a thing of the past. It will be interesting (and wonderful) if the FFA also improves!!
Best wishes
Jean
