Plaquenil side effects

Hi I live in australia
I have FFA. I have been prescribed plaquenil and have been taking 200mg once daily for 6 months. I have stopped because I have developed an allergy around the skin of my eyes has anyone had this problem.
Also any recommendation for a top hair wig

Hi Pam - welcome !  I wonder if you could be Pam Aussie, please or something else as we already have a lady called Pam in the UK, hope you don't mind - it just helps us to remember who's who !  I am taking the same dose of Plaquenil, I have had some probs with focussing if I look to the side at someone sitting next to me - may be nothing to worry about but it's def noticeable.  Celia

Celia please get to an eye dr.  This is a serious side affect of plaquenil.  Dont take anymore plaquenil til you see one.  My eye dr gave me a chart to view daily to check for changes.  Not trying to scare you but the damage can be permanent.

Hi, Pam. This week I noticed bruising under my right eye. I thought I bumped my eye. Is this what the allergy looks like?
