Has anyone heard of or tried Temporary Tattoo eyebrows? I ran across this website today off of the National Alopecia Areata Foundation site. http://www.beauti-full-brows.com If anyone has, I would be very interested in hearing what you know. I'm looking into getting my eyebrows tattooed but this might be another option. I'm so used to not having eyebrows I'm kind of nervous about tattooing, plus I've never gotten a tattoo before. My daughter is getting married in Oct, so I'm looking into this and makeup recommendations for my Rosacia/sensitive skin. I wear very little makeup now, just around my eyes. I use mascara (I'm sure I'll need waterproof), eyeliner and concealer for my dark circles under my eyes. Thanks ahead for any thoughts and ideas on both of these!

Ellen - Thanks! Also, check your inbox. I sent you a list of People near our area. I have a consult with one at the end of the month.
My Derm didn't have any recommendations either, which surprised me. She said to just start with the brand I've used for eye makeup and go from there. That can get expensive. I use Almay for eye makeup, which is for sensitive skin. I haven't tried foundation yet in that brand. My daughter has sensitive skin too. She likes Bare Minerals. She's going to go with me one day and help me figure something out. I hate going to makeup counters!!
Hi, PJ. Sorry this took a while to respond... I hope that you decided to go with the eyebrow tattoo! Like you, and maybe many, I was skeptical. I lost mine 4 years ago... but not until the past year or two did I start "drawing" them in. I did not mind - until I swam... or rubbed my eyes, and OOPS... there they go. So I did mine in March... and I absolutely love them. I feel good, and it is so much easier for me in the morning. This is one thing that we can absolutely control, and do to feel pretty out the outside... (I hope that we all know that we are beautiful on the inside!). Anyway - I hope you are happy with the decision that you made - whether that is to do it, or not. All the best - Lori
This is timely - I just finished my eyebrow appointment a few hours ago. Best decision ever. Lost my eyebrows over past four years to FFA. Do a web search for "Permanent Makeup" and find an artist who specializes in medical tattoos. (The one I found only does medical, which uses a different type of ink/pigment - which is VERY important. She specializes in breast reconstruction tats - as it is an important part of making the new breast look natural.) My eyebrow result even has wonderful "feathering" like real hairs. And she also taught me that putting a tiny bit of vaseline on your eyebrow area before showering helps keep water out of your eyes. (Redirects water around your eyes the way eyebrows would normally work.)
Root Beer and Lo - thanks for your reply. I had my consult. Still not sure what to do. How did you decide the shape of eyebrow and color? I have no hair on my eyebrows at all. In the past week my eyebrows flared up and got really itchy and red for a couple days. This happens once in awhile. Do either of you have that problem? Should you get eyebrows tattooed with that going on? I also would like to do the eyeliner and eyelash enhancement. Makes me nervous since they are working right by your eyes. She showed me the needles that are used, they just seem so large for that small area. The "ink" she said that's used is basically dirt and will fade in a few years if you don't come in for touchups.
