hey everyone!! I'm 17 and i have alopecia totalis and i've had it since i was 4 years old.. it's been up and down with my hair loss since the past 5 years. but this time it is just staying at "fuzz" and hasn't grown past that since december. but anyways, lately i've been a lot better with not having my hair probably because i'm now wearing a wig. but i'd love to walk around without having it on all the time but i guess i'm just not ready for it. I'm hoping to make some new friends!!

I´m Mia, a 17 year old girl from Germany. I´m having AT but my hair just starts to grow a little bit. I´m so excited to see what will happen. I´m sorry for my English - its not my mother tongue :)
I hope I can get to know some people here who have the same :D

Whoa, a lot of people in this group! Uh, hi? I'm 21 and I have AA probably borderline AT... and I've had this since I was 2? Or 3? Really early in my life. So if anyone's been recently diagnosed and is having trouble, I'm here!

Hey all!! I'm 29 and have angrogenic alopecia. doctors say it was triggered by the stress of losing my father to cancer when i was 21. It has been a slow progression...so i guess i'm lucky in that respect. will post pics of myself soon: got a new camera and i want to play around with it first. c ya!

Hi girls ! My name is Mackenzie and I'm 15 years old . I have Alopecia Areata and I have had it for a couple of years now . I just recently started to accept my hair loss . ( which was one thing I thought I would never be able to do . )I still cry and stuff , but that's normal . And many times I think , Why me ?!?!!? But anyways , I guess that's it for now . I'm new to this site , and I'm gad I joined . I hope to make new friends !!! : )
