Thanks! I've been doing dairy free to so this is perfect. I'll run over to Trader Joes & Whole Foods tomorrow!

I made chocolate chip cookies last night from a mix I bought at my local grocery store. I also know Whole Foods carries it: http://www.cherrybrookkitchen.com/
There are currently only 2 cookies left. Dairy & egg free, too.

I also like Glutino cookies. http://www.glutino.com/ Trader Joe's has GF brownie mix that is fantastic. I urge you to check out www.glutenfreegirl.com. Read her book, too. She's really into baking and she's cool.

I'm not much help on crackers....I did get some Glutino crackers that resembled Ritz crackers....they were pretty good. Other than that I've eaten my fair share of rice crackers....but I guess I just don't crave crackers anymore. I switched over to plain tortilla chips. Yum. Salsa...hummus, guacamole. All good. I also snack a lot on nuts and dried fruit. It seems to be more satisfying. Hope this helps!!!!

I found a gluten free/vegan restaurant downtown that has great reviews although a little pricey. Maybe we can have our next meeting in the city down there. I know Pat eats a raw diet so it would work for her too. Is your baby shower gluten free? lol

I've only been doing this for a week so far but I have to say I feel much better. I'm really missing snacking on crackers or cookies and good suggestions for a substitute?

FYI, sad, but true.....I think Red Robin does a pretty good job at burgers...without the seasoning of course....lettuce wrapped. Honestly. Unless we make burgers at home....RR is the only place I can think of for burgers when we go out. They also make the fries gluten free. I really like those.

I've been gluten free since November 2008, it does get easier. I dream about eating Big Macs though...:)
