I don't want to try to imagine how many hats I have!!! :)
But, I do get most of them on Ebay. Found a few people on their that knit for great prices. :)

If scarves can be included here, there is a great scarf-tying video on You-Tube using either a cut-off t-shirt or oblong scarf, from a gal with lymphoma.

For the summer, it's best to use cotton when crocheting hats as it's more breathable. Bernat Cotton works great and is in plenty of colours.

Amber, I recently taught myself how to crochet hats and I love them!! It's fantastic because they fit well, as you can adjust the size, and I don't feel self conscious because my spots are covered!! :) With summer coming though I'm going to need to find an alternative, but I suppose there are ways to crochet lighter hats... I hope this was informative! If you are interested, youtube has a great tutorial on both how to crochet, as well as how to make a hat!! I tweaked the pattern though and if you are interested, I'd love to share what I changed if it's helpful! :)
