Any suggestions for warm athletic hats that come down over the ears and low on the nape, but do not make you look like a pinhead? I walk three days a week and it's getting colder, and my hats are not fitting right. I have checked out some sights but I need a petite or x-small and they all seem to be one size fits most.

Thats what i do now maya in place of hats. they help hide the tracks and cover the hair line (at least thats how i wear mine). Mine are fat and net like. But i'm determined to find a fitting hat for this hair!

and thats how it is for me monica. when i go out i throw the piece on but like on the weekends when i want to relax i wear a hat or scarf or a beanie.

note to all those who have realy curly hair (wigs) and love hats:

not a lot o hats go well with curly hair (not that i know of) but i suggest you try headbands, headbands look great with curly hair =] expecially the big, wide, solid ones =]

Wigs are itchy! They give me headaches too.

Hats are way more comfortable.

Thanks for the invite.
I have started to make some of those crochet beanie hats.
I like this group.
I get so tired of wearing those wigs.
They are hot and itch my head!!

The curls stop right above my shoulders. When i bought the wig the curls were really neat but i fuzzed them up because i like messy curls, so thats what i'm working with. Ill make a beret that style and see if that works. I'm not crazy about fedoras, though wool hats also give me an idea. I think that would be a good material. Hmmm...
