Interesting enough, I have also been diagnosed with rhematoid (excuse spelling) arthritis as well as kidney issues along with alopecia. Doctors have recently told me that these links classify me as having lupus. Pretty Crazy

Hi All!

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, Raynaud's Syndrome, Sjorgen's Syndrome, Microscopic Colitis along with my Alopecia Universalis. It's nice to find that I'm not alone in this.

Hi Pat I didn’t know what PMR was and when I googled it a pistol came up, but then I looked at your other comments and realized it was polymyalgia rheumatica. After reading about it I can’t believe how many different diseases there are and how many I see just with the people here on AW. Anyway I’m sorry you’re not feeling that great, and I hope your energy picks up soon.

I'm feeling so tired lately, bone weary tired. It's a strange feeling not to have that inbuilt energy I'm so used to having. I know it's all part of my PMR but it's very frustrating when I see things that need doing and just haven't got that spark in me to do it.

Welcome Liz, There is something called multiple autoimmune syndrome and there are Dermatologist that specialize in autoimmune diseases. I have a nurse in the family and she wanted me to go to the Mayo Clinic. She said that they do a much better job with unusual cases, but it’s kind of difficult because of the distance. Well good luck to you and I hope you find help for your daughter!!!

I'm sorry to hear that about your daughter, bad enough dealing with all this when an adult. I'm not sure who specialises in multiple autoimmune diseases if anyone. Hopefully someone here will answer your query soon.

My 10 year old daughter had a hair follicle biopsy done Friday as she has lost all hair on her body and about an inch and a half from her hairline. This would be her third autoimmune disesase, after Kawaski's at 20 months and PANDAS since she was about 7. What doctor do I see to address the multiple autoimmune piece?
